Yoga First
Yoga forms the foundation of the Varenyam Junior journey — building physical awareness, flexibility, balance and healthy movement habits.
Varenyam Junior is a structured wellness education journey for children aged 4–15 years — rooted in yoga, character, mindfulness and habits that support learning for life.
Varenyam Junior brings yoga, wellness, mindfulness and character development together in one structured learning journey designed around the growing child.
Yoga forms the foundation of the Varenyam Junior journey — building physical awareness, flexibility, balance and healthy movement habits.
Children gradually learn breathing, awareness, mindfulness and simple practices that can help them pause, observe and respond thoughtfully.
Wellness goes beyond the body. Children explore values, gratitude, kindness, responsibility and self-discipline.
Through practice, challenges, reflection and communication, children get opportunities to become more confident in themselves.
The goal is not a short-term activity. We help children discover simple wellness habits they can carry into everyday life.
Every lesson is designed around a bigger purpose: helping children grow healthier, kinder, more disciplined, curious and confident.
A healthy child learns better than a stressed child. We believe wellbeing should be part of childhood — not something children learn only after they grow up.
Varenyam Junior follows a structured four-semester journey. Each semester builds on the previous one, allowing children to develop their practice, understanding and confidence step by step.
A complete one-year learning journey with regular practice, assessment and certification milestones.
Children establish the foundations of yoga, movement, breathing, awareness and healthy routines.
Practice deepens as children develop greater awareness, focus and control through age-appropriate activities.
Wellness expands beyond physical practice into values, responsibility, kindness and emotional awareness.
Children bring their learning together through practice, reflection, challenges and communication.
Children receive a certificate of completion after successfully completing each semester.

A consistent rhythm helps children build habits naturally — through live practice, meaningful activities and regular opportunities to reflect on their progress.
Children learn best when learning becomes a consistent part of their routine. Varenyam Junior combines live guided practice, activities, reflection and structured assessment into a simple, predictable learning rhythm.
Children learn through live, instructor-led sessions where practice takes centre stage. Sessions are designed to keep children active, engaged and connected.
Quizzes, challenges and age-appropriate activities give children opportunities to apply what they learn beyond regular practice.
Progress is reviewed through structured assessments so that learning is not simply about attending classes, but about developing understanding and practice.
Every three months, children reach a defined learning milestone through semester evaluation and certification.
Varenyam Junior follows a structured assessment system that looks beyond simple attendance. Children are evaluated through practice, understanding and personal interaction at each semester milestone.
Children demonstrate their learning through guided yoga practice and age-appropriate practical activities.
Knowledge and understanding are assessed through structured multiple-choice questions appropriate to the learning level.
A guided interaction gives children an opportunity to express what they understand, experience and have learned.
The semester evaluation brings together practical performance, knowledge assessment and interview-based interaction to create a broader picture of the child's learning journey.
Demonstration of age-appropriate practice and skills.
Assessment of concepts covered during the semester.
A guided conversation to understand the child's learning.
Children who successfully complete the semester evaluation receive a certificate of completion for that stage of the Varenyam Junior journey.
The goal is not simply to teach children a set of yoga postures. The program brings together physical practice, awareness, values and healthy routines that children can gradually carry into their everyday lives.
Develop body awareness, movement, balance, flexibility and a regular relationship with physical activity.
Introduce children to simple practices that encourage attention, awareness and mindful participation.
Explore values such as kindness, gratitude, discipline, responsibility and respect through age-appropriate learning.
Help children understand how small, consistent choices can contribute to a healthier daily routine.
Give children opportunities to practise, communicate, participate and express themselves in a supportive setting.
Connect wellness education with everyday decisions, reflection, responsibility and lifelong learning.
What children practise during their sessions can become habits they carry into home, school, relationships and everyday life.
